Children are rarely taught how to sew at school these days
which is ashame. We have a number of kits especially for them
(and anybody else wishing to start) by DMC, Anchor, Heritage,
Cleopatra's Needle and One-Off. It is best to start with long
stitch which grows quickly, is the easiest and gives them a
sense of achievement. Move into tapestry and then cross stitch.
In the shop there is a "Free for Children" basket
with off cuts of canvas, aida, wool and threads.
